    I'm planning to start doing morning cardio, and i'm wondering if it is good or bad. should i take protein before?

    well even though wrong forum i saw your question lol. i found that cardio on an empty stomach has always workied best for me. are you trying to lose body fat? gain muscle?. I think that if you can do cardio intense and have enough energy to do it 100% that you should try on an empty stomach at least for fat loss. But forsure take protein, and glutamine ( at the very least) right after. If you wanted to try something for cardio endurance , i am taking the Beta-k from Ultimate Nutrition right now and my endurance and intensity has increased huge. Also no muscle cramps when running

    In my opinion cardio is best done first thing in the morning on an empty stomach if you can handle it. Roll outta bed and have your gym clothes ready, throw them on have a couple glasses of water and get out the door. Its very important to follow up with protein though. Have a shake right away then follow it up with a sensible breakfast 30-45 mins later.
