been looking around and I have to say the Canadian sports nutrition retailer is gonna have a hard time if they don't cut their prices. I've Heard all the excuses and I was in the supplement game for years as a retailer and a wholesaler. Fact is Canadian companies are charging too much and the profit margin is gonna have to be cut.( make less per item sell more items its simple math) I recently made a purchase from an american retailer bought 3 products and with exchange and shipping it was still $12 cheaper that ordering just 1 product on the Canadian side something's gotta give guys :(

This has been going forever and its not just on Supplements. Simple answer is two different countries
Has anyone shopped for clothing in the US compared to Canada? I was just told by someone visiting Florida last week the suit he buys in Canada for $1000 is $150 in Florida. I just compared a 2010 Ford F150 Lariet , Canadian Price is starting at $48,299. American Price is starting at $33765. Lets take something we use everyday like Milk, Cheese, Eggs, they are a lot cheaper in Costco US than Costco Canada.
My point is I can go on and on about this it is just as frustrating for me as it is to you but it is what it is and that is the United States and this is Canada. The United States has 307,000,000 people and Canada 33,300,000 people, Health Canada has different rules and guidelines which Canadian Distributors have to follow and implement before selling the products to retailers which can cost a lot of money.
When you look into the pricing on US versus Canadian sites it is not that bad as the products/items mentioned above. For example.
I took the top 4 products bb.com sells and compared to SVNCanada. They were 2 ON 100% Whey (https://www.svncanada.com/cart_product.php?id=390&type=1), Gaspari Superpump (https://www.svncanada.com/cart_product.php?id=668&type=1) and BSN xplode (https://www.svncanada.com/cart_product.php?id=1788&type=1) , bb.com price shipped to Canada was $184.50 plus GST = $193.72. At todays exchange rate is 1.0009. Your credit card company is going to change you anywhere from 3-6% to convert US to Canadian, mine is usually 4%, so the 193.72 is really $201.47 approx. SVN Price is Total $231.55 with boarder free hastles and with current promotion FREE SHAKER CUP, 2 FREE PRODUCT SAMPLES, 1 FREE ToGo Packet, FREE T-Shirt & 2 FREE PROTEIN BARS . It is a $30.00 Canadian difference but you do get the SVN Bonus Points, Freebies, free t-shirt, faster shipping. If the US dollar goes to $1.15 which it was not even a year ago and we are the same price. In the meantime SVN will continue to adjust pricing based on what we pay. We only do Ethical Pricing. When we pay cheaper you pay cheaper. Thank you for your time. I apologize if any of this sounds like gibberish it is late at night :)
